Michael J. Wyatt is an award-winning singer, songwriter, composer, and master vocal coach whose passion for music has guided his entire life. With a rare five-octave range and a falsetto that rivals accomplished sopranos, Michael’s voice is as powerful as it is versatile.

Born in Chicago and raised under the sunny skies of Irvine, California, Michael Wyatt didn’t just hear music, he absorbed it.

At seven, his electrician father gifted him a small radio tape recorder, and the world shifted. Suddenly, Michael could replay the voices of the Bee Gees, cartoons, and radio DJ then become them. Whether in school choir, on stage in plays, or belting out the National Anthem at sporting events, he was already building a reputation: a kid who could command a crowd.

The Boy with the Tape Recorder

By his teenage years, Michael had turned his passion into a business, running a mobile DJ service where he spun tracks, hyped up the crowd, and earned his first paychecks doing what he loved. A short stint in the band “Four Degrees Kelvin” hinted at a bigger dream though the group dissolved, Michael’s drive never did.

After trade school in Arizona (to fund his music), fate struck in the form of a club owner who heard him on the mic. Within weeks, he was a house DJ and live on air thanks to a partnership with Magic 106 radio. His electrifying energy earned him the nickname “Mad Mike,” and his voice was suddenly bouncing across the airwaves.

From Bedroom Beats to “Mad Mike”

Back in California, Michael’s magnetic style landed him gigs at clubs like Peppers, Florentine’s, and Mr. J’s. To get paid, he founded M. Benelli Management LLC and the brand of Mad Mike grew.
But deep down, he was hungry for something bigger: singing. Open mics became his playground. A chance encounter at “The Town House” led to an audience warm-up role for the TV show Vibe, and before long, he was training under vocal legend Dr. Marjorie Taylor in Beverly Hills. Dr. Taylor’s final words to him still ring out like an encore: “A five-octave voice like yours is one in a million.”

Armed with classical training and the power to write, read, and compose music, Michael stepped into the spotlight as “Arries,” performing live shows under La Coca Rouge Records. He also built a songwriting partnership with multi-instrumentalist Andre Brown, producing original tracks.

Meanwhile, his voice kept sneaking onto the air, this time through 102.3 KJLH radio, where he became a go-to personality for commercials, live feeds, and morning show call-ins.

Chasing the Spotlight
The Artist Emerges

In 2000, Michael teamed up with Lumiere Exponential Media Group, co-creating over thirty television and film projects. Today, as Director of Script Treatment Development, he shapes original content while still fronting his band, Steel Bleau, working on a studio album for worldwide release.
Whether he’s performing in mega churches, producing scripts, or riding one of his motorcycles down the California coast, Michael Wyatt lives for the thrill of creation. His voice has taken him from tiny tape recorders to roaring crowds and the show is far from over.
